Information you give us: when you fill out the reservation or contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), the type and approximate date of your event, guest count, budget range if you share it, and any message or preferences you send us.

Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools may record basic technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site or ad that referred you. This helps us understand which pages are useful and whether our advertising is working.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not ask for identification documents, payment card numbers, or sensitive personal data through this website.

To answer your inquiry, prepare a quote, hold a date, and coordinate your event or stay.

To keep a record of the conversation in our customer relationship management (CRM) system so any member of our team can follow up.

To send you information about availability, packages, seasonal openings, and news about the property — by email and, if you have given us your number and agreed to it, by SMS or WhatsApp.

To measure and improve our website and our advertising, including search and social campaigns.

To meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

We only send marketing emails or text messages to people who asked us for information or gave us permission. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP or writing to us. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Opting out of marketing does not stop the messages we need to send about an event or stay you have already booked with us.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your language preference, measure traffic, and — where enabled — attribute visits that come from our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as expected if you do.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate: our website hosting and database provider, our email and messaging providers, our CRM, and our analytics and advertising platforms. These providers process data on our instructions.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our guests, our team, and our property.

Our website and database are hosted with providers that may store and process data outside Costa Rica. We choose providers that apply recognized security practices, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.

We keep inquiry and event records for as long as needed to serve you and to comply with our legal and accounting obligations. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to stop sending marketing messages. Write to info@vallevistacr.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. Costa Rican data protection law (Ley N.º 8968) and, where it applies, the rules of your own country govern these rights.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
